Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-23
These terms govern your use of ManiMode, operated by ManiMode. By creating an account you agree to them.
⚠️ Draft: the operating entity, governing law and support address are not configured yet (LEGAL_OPERATOR, LEGAL_GOVERNING_LAW, SUPPORT_EMAIL). Set them before relying on this page.
What the service does
ManiMode lets you try nail designs on a hand photo and generate new design variations using AI image models. Results are generated by third-party models and are approximations — they are design references for you and your clients, not a promise of what a physical manicure will look like.
Your account
- You sign in with an email address; there is no password. Anyone with access to your inbox can sign in as you, so keep it secure.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.
- One person or business per account. Do not share an account across a salon — buy additional credits instead.
Credits
- Every AI image costs credits: 1 credit per generated design, 1 per try-on.
- New accounts receive 10 free credits, once.
- If a generation fails, the credits are returned automatically. You are not charged for an image you did not receive.
- Plan credits are added to your balance each billing period and remain while your plan is active. Top-up credits do not expire.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not redeemable except as use of the service.
What you upload
You keep all rights to photos you upload. You confirm that you have the right to upload them — in particular, if the hand in the photo is a client's, that you have their permission. Do not upload photos of people who have not agreed, images of children, or anything unlawful.
You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to send your photo to our AI provider so it can produce the result you asked for. We do not use your photos to train models and we do not publish them.
What you generate
You may use generated images freely, including commercially — in your portfolio, with clients, on social media. We claim no ownership of them. Two things to be aware of: AI output is not exclusive, so another user can receive something similar, and generated images may not be copyrightable in some jurisdictions.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to generate sexual, violent, hateful or otherwise unlawful imagery, or to depict identifiable people without consent.
- Do not resell, scrape or automate access to the service, or create multiple accounts to collect free credits.
- Do not interfere with the service or attempt to bypass credit accounting.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where we close an account for abuse, unused paid credits are refunded; free credits are not.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
Purchases are processed by Creem, which acts as merchant of record and is the seller for your transaction. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked on the pricing page — it takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then. Refund terms are on the refund page.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as-is. We rely on third-party AI providers, so generation may be slow or temporarily unavailable, and model behaviour can change without notice. We may change features and pricing; for changes that affect an active subscription we will give notice by email before the next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost business or lost client relationships. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
Governing law
The governing law for these terms has not been finalised yet. Until it is, your local consumer-protection law applies in full.
